OUR GROWING SYSTEMS

GreenSea Hydroponics has over 10 years experience in the pipe fitting industry for refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation, and we have been growing with hydroponics for just over 20 years now and have enjoyed every moment. This combined experience in both fields has led us to design and manufacture our own growing systems for hydroponics and aeroponics.

Our systems are designed for one thing only and that is to maximise your plants potential and allow you to produce the best crops possible, with ease. All our designs are re-circulating systems that require very little growing media to be used. They can all be assembled quickly and easily by one person and require very little maintenance when assembled, just regular checks on your solution level and EC and PH levels in the solution.

Listed below are the hydroponics and aeroponics systems that we have designed with a brief explanation to how they work. The results from these systems will speak for themselves, and we are sure you will be happy with one.

AERO POTZ AEROPONICS SYSTEMS

Aero Potz Aeroponics Systems are our MKII versions which are based on our original design, the GS Aeroponics systems. Aero Potz have been highly improved and will push your plants to their limit to gain the full potential from your indoor garden, and with only a hand full of growing media required and far less nutrients used these systems are a sure winner. The main improvement we have made is to lower the grow pots and the height of the system allowing much taller and bigger plants to be grown, as the original systems required a stand to elevate the grow pots to allow the excess nutrient solution to drain back into the main tank. Bigger flow rated pumps are used to ensure the new irrigation delivery system is highly reliable and waters your roots when required, and much larger storage tanks allow the systems to be left for much longer periods than before. In trials these systems performed better than anything we have trialed before, and quite honestly amazed us with the results.

Aero Potz systems store your nutrient solution in the main reservoir which is now a vertical water butt instead of a horizontal water tank as before, and takes up much less floor space. Each system is supplied with an air pump and stones to aerate your nutrient solution in the main reservoir before it is delivered to your plant roots. The main feed pumps in the reservoirs for each system have been slightly over rated on the flow to ensure the delivery of your nutrient solution is always very reliable. The solution is pumped out of the reservoir and through an inline filter to prevent any tank debree entering your pipe work and should be cleaned regularly to ensure the delivery works well. The solution then flows through the main feed lines which lay on the floor betweeen the rows of Aero Potz and has 4mm outlets fitted in place for an easy connection to each 20 litre Aero Potz. The main feed lines are connected to each Aero Potz top lid with 6mm irrigation pipe (4mm hole), and then it splits on the lid to deliver your solution into the two inverted sprinklers mounted in the lids. Your plants are supported in 3" mesh pots placed in the centre of the lids with a sprinkler mounted either side to ensure all your roots are totally covered with your nutrient solution. The roots are suspended in the air inside the inner grow pot which has small drain holes around the base and side of the pot to contain the roots. All the excess solution can drain from the inner pot and into the outer pots of the system which all have a filter fitted to prevent any roots that may have entered the outer pot from growing into the drain pipes and blocking them. The outer pots are all connected in rows with much larger fittings and pipe to ensure there is good drainage and allow the excess solution to drain quickly into the header return pot of the system. This pot plays a very important part in re-circulating your excess solution back into the main tank for later use and allows all the plant roots to be totally suspended in the air and not submerged into any solution in the complete system. The header return pot has a float level switch fitted inside the pot which is connected to a control box fitted on the outside of the pot. The control box is connected to the mains and the control box also has a Maxi Jet MJ1000 pump connected to it as well which is placed inside the return pot. As the excess solution drains into the header return pot and the float rises it will automatically turn on the pump, the pump will run and return your solution into the main tank for as long as the float stays high, as soon as the feed pump turns off and the level of solution lowers in the system the float will also lower and eventually turn of the return pump. We recommend you run the feed pump once an hour for a 15 minute period only when the lights are on, in tests this schedule worked extremely well for us and no feed times were required in the dark period as the inner pots hold so much moisture in the air. All Aero Potz systems are a plug and play design and can be assembled by one person alone and they do not require any cutting or drilling of parts, they can also be disassembled easily and quickly for cleaning down the systems between each grow.
Aero Potz Aeroponics Systems provide extremely fast growth with any plants, so if you are growing plants that produce fruits or flowers we recommend you only grow them for about two to three weeks in the system before switching to the flowering period, as longer growth periods can cause problems in the long run with extremely big plants being produced which may be too much for your growroom.

We have a copyright on the new design so hopefully there will not be any imitation systems available that are not manufactured by ourselves and do not work as well as we promise and guarantee.
